Postage Due Mail
Mail which did not have sufficient postage
attached was assessed postage due by the Czechoslovak post office.
The postage due rate charged was twice the proper postal rate.
For example, the proper rate would have been 1 K for this letter,
sent from eská Lípa to Sobotka on September 18,
1924, but it was sent without any postage. Therefore, the postage
due charge to the recipient was 2 Kc.
