August Cover of the Month

A registered receipt for a money letter containing 335 rubles was sent by the Information and Education Section of Army administration in Siberia. This amount paid for 15 copies of Number 5 of the Czechoslovak Siberian Legion humor magazine "Houpaky." The receipt was sent to the Education Section, 2^nd Armored Train. The card is canceled with the metal Field Post cancel and also bears two versions of the unit cancel of the Information and Education Section. Very rare item.
