Sept Cover of the Month


Military post card sent on August 28, 1917 by a Czech Legionnaire from Cognac to Chicago. The sender was assigned to 1st Company, 1st Section of the Czechoslovak Battalion. The card went by courier to New York where a 2 cent American stamp was affixed. The card completed its journey to Chicago through the United States mails.
