Air mail letter sent from Prague on June 29, 1938 to Puchara, Peru. The letter went by train to Friedrichshafen and then by plane via the South Atlantic. The aircraft landed on a ship anchored in mid-ocean for refueling and then was catapulted off to help it on its way. The letter arrived in Areouifa on July 6. The postage is correct. |
