September Cover of the Month

Concentration Camp Mail. Post card carried by courier from Terezin (Theresienstadt) to the Jewish Council of Elders in Prague. The card was stamped (blue text) with instructions where to return it in case of non-delivery and with the stamp (red text) of the Jewish Cultural Community.

The letter was mailed in Prague on March 17, 1942, but without a stamp and hence postage due was collected.
