The publication of Mail of the Czechoslovak Legions in France has uncovered a cover bearing the cancel illustrated on page 12 and discussed on page 13. The reader will note that this cancel bears the numeral 2 which would confirm that more than one canceller of this type existed. The card was written by a Czech on May 11, 1915 and sent to a friend in Nice. The sender writes that he will not be able to come to Nice because on "Monday we are leaving to where I know not."
