December 1998
- December 20 ~ Added a new link to a very interesting page.
- December 11 ~ Put up the January/February
Table
of Contents for the Specialist.
- December 05 ~ Hope everyone had
a wonderful Thanksgiving (for those that celebrate it ~ and I hope
that those that don't celebrate it, ate lots in sympathy ) Fixed
the Cover
of the Month page ... have
no idea why it was doing such wierd things. Updated the final
wrap-up page for the Praga
exhibit and included a number of photographs. Check it out! :)
November 1998
- November 22 ~ Added an auction to
the Auctions page. Updated the Table of Contents for November/December. Was told that
the Cover is not coming up properly so will be checking into that
within the next couple of days.
- November 15 ~ Put up the November
Cover
of the Month and archived
October.

September 1998
- September 30 ~ Updated a variety
of pages in an effort to get them to load faster.
- September 10 ~ Put up the
new Cover
of the Month and fixed
the archive
links for the Cover of
the Month. Good luck to all exhibiting in Praga 98.
August 1998
- August 30 ~ added a new Praga page

Participants , added the
Final
Praga Update which includes
changes to the schedule, and updated the Praga
Report page.
- August 23 ~ added a new link to
the Links page.
- August 16 ~ updated the Cover
of the Month with the August
cover. Hopefully, now I will be able to keep current.
- August 15 ~ updated The
Specialist with the September/October
Table of Contents.
- August 13 ~ updated the Cover
of the Month with the missing
text <g>. Also worked on the Board Members page and hopefully that is all fixed.
- August 12 ~ Updated the Cover
of the Month with the July
cover. Yup. A month late. <g> Still have to find the text, however.
Hope to have August up in the next day or two. I do have the text
for that one <g>.
- August 10 ~ Well, after a bit of
a vacation, I am finally back and updating the site. I have just updated
the Auctions page. All the pages will be receiving
a "new look" but that will be happening over time.
For right now, the links that are not yet in place, should route you
back to the Main Page which will be the
final one to change. As for the Cover of the Month
.... I have in my hands both July and August - both of which should
be up in the next couple of days.
July 1998
- July 02 ~ Updated the Table
of Contents for the July/August
issue of The Specialist. We were sent a
note saying that you probably will not see the publication until about
mid-July. Working on the cover of the month for July.
June 1998
- June 28 ~ Finally got the June Cover
of the Month up. Now I'm
working on the July.
- June 21 ~ Happy Summer Solstice
and Happy Fathers Day everyone! I added a Praga 98 update
which shows the schedule and has a few tips for travelers. Also added
a notice about a new exhibit at the Smithsonian that is stamp related.
- June 20 ~ fixed Board
Members page and added
a few email links.

April 1998
- April 18 ~ Added a couple of new
covers to the Praga
Postal Issues page.
- April 15 ~ Finally got the Cover
of the Month for the month
of April up! It's a little late, but taxes are done :) ....
so check it out! Stray thought of the day ~ did you know that on this
date, in 1912 at 2:20 am, the RMS Titanic sank ... iceberg involved.
- April 13 ~ Updated the Table
of Contents for the May/June
issue of the Specialist. Still working on the cover of the month.
- April 05 ~ Happy April everybody.
It's a gorgeous day here in DC (albeit a wie bit nippy).
Added a couple of new Dealers and an upcoming auction. The cover of the month is not up yet
but hopefully I'll get it up soon. Need y'all to send some in as well.
March 1998
- March 29 ~ Added a newly released
Traveler's
Advisory issued by the
American Embassy with regard to certain hotels in Prague.
- March 21 ~ Added the Czech
Scout Association to the
links page which offers online support for those Czech Scouts wanting
to earn a badge for stamp collecting.
- March 15 ~ Added a two new pages
covering new stamp issues for the Praga 98 exhibition.
- March 13 ~ Added a new page which
covers the Praga
98 medals.
- March 08 ~ Updated the Cover
of the Month with a little
more on the history of the cover (for those of us with limited
knowledge on the subject :p). Removed the auction that has passed
from the Auctions page. Included a new link on the links page.
- March 03 ~ There are some new Auctions listed and the Cover of the Month has been updated for the month of March.
New Praga issues will be up soon as well as a couple of new stamp
stories.
February 1998
- Feb 14 ~ The new Table
of Contents for the next
issue of The Specialist has been updated. The text for this
months cover has also been added.
- Feb 01 ~ The Cover
of the Month has been updated
for the month of February. It does not have a write up as of yet,
but will be adding that soon.
January 1998
December 1997
- Updated the The
Specialist Table of Contents
for January/February issue.
- Updated the links page.
- It's Here! A page for links. However, we need submissions. So if
you have any links that you would like to see on this page, send it
along!
- As you can see, a number of changes
have occurred in both design and content. The design is obvious, but
two (2) new sections have also been added. The first is the Praga
98 Report and the accompanying
Travel
& Accommodations. Coming
soon ... a page for links.
November 1997
Finally I have managed
to get the sheetlet up!
- updated a number of links on the
various pages. Still working on the sheetlet problem. Please have
patience <grin>.
- Will soon be adding a links page.
If anyone has any suggestions as to links they would like to see,
please let us know.
- Added two new auctions to the
Auctions page and some new dates for releases
to the Praga
Postal Issues page. Other
than that, not much has changed on the pages except for correcting
of minor errors such as spelling, extra spaces, and a word here
or there. Am still working on the sheetlet problem. There is nothing
wrong with the code and we are working to figure out why it just
isn't coming up.
October 1997
- In the past couple of days, I
have add a new page and updated an old one. The page added was the
promised Application Form. I am still working on the look,
but thought I should get something up (dad was really getting
on my case).I also received the updated Table of Contents for
the November/December issue of The Specialist.

- Updated the Auctions page with a the announcement of a
new auction.
- Created a new page called Stamp
Stories which will house
(hopefully) a variety of stamp stories found around the
globe.
- Updated the Praga
Postal Issues page by
including an image of the issued post card.
- Most of the changes occurred on
the first (index) page including adding some different
graphics and a URL minder when the page is updated. We'll see if
that works.
- Also changed the basic look of
the rest of the pages (so far this is the only one that has
not change ... yet) thanks to a suggestion sent to me.
September 1997
- Updated the Specialist page with the Sept/Oct article index.
August 1997
- Added Auctions page.
- Fixed one of the dates on
the stamps page. Sorry about that.
- Hopefully, will have the
auctions page up by tomorrow.
